This painting was my artwork for a challenge by the ArtVisions Studio and Gallery.  The challenge was to come up with a long narrow format painting that would fit on the 14"x7" canvas.  Harvey sure did fit the bill with this big long ears!

It's that time of year again when there are plenty of blue birds, busy searching for nesting material and finding the perfect spot to build their nest.  I love hearing them outside my window happily singing with the sounds of spring.

These birds are fascinating, they are so patient, fast and still you think they are a statue; and then they send that sharp beak into the water and come up with a fish; and then with a few shakes of the head they swallow the whole fish!!!  What a digestive system!

This is a painting of my favorite model, my Grandson.  While on  summer vacation to the Finger Lakes area of NYS, the Captain of this tour boat asked Jackson if he'd like to Captain the boat.  Jackson couldn't wait to hop up in the captain's seat!!
